One of the Grand Strand’s most popular events has returned to the Spring season. The Horry-Georgetown Home Builders Association will host the 30th Annual Home Show on May 21-23, 2010.
Everything you could want or need for your home will be showcased at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. This year’s show will highlight “going green” and the three day affair will be completely powered with Santee Cooper Green Power.
Over 300 exhibitors will showcase their wares and services, as well as host seminars and demonstrations. I am excited about attending the Back Yard Wildlife Habitat Seminar. The featured speakers for this year’s event will be the finalists of NBC’s hit reality TV series The Biggest Loser, Ed Brantley and Heba Salama.
Local experts will also be on hand to discuss home and lifestyle issues. The Association is once again encouraging the public to donate to the House of Cans Project to benefit local food banks (my husband’s company 84 Lumber really enjoy this project) and the popular Pet House Project to assist The Grand Strand Humane Society.
